Vibe Magazine is WACK! I don't understand why they decided to interview Alexis Phifer only to speak about Amber Rose. I also don't understand why Alexis chose to do the interview. The whole thing seems way off.
I know that Alexis didn't directly aim any insults at Amber Rose but by the way in which the interview was framed it seems as if it was all set up in order to belittle Amber Rose. The type of questions that were asked, the way they were framed, and the order they were done in led Alexis to give particular answers that would make her seem "better" than Amber. In my opinion, Alexis sounded kind of arrogant and self-righteous. I sense a condescending tone towards Amber from Alexis.
By her answers and choice of words, I feel like Alexis is trying to imply that she's the better person for choosing to stay away from the spotlight.
The funny thing is, no one ever cared whether she was in the spotlight or not.
And on the other hand, Amber is naturally captivating and she is very comfortable with herself. Amber never asked for fame nor was she looking for it, it just came to her. And NOW,Amber is now trying to build opportunities for herself and she is doing it in an honest way. She isn't lying, cheating, or pulling crazy stunts to get attention. She just gets it! Amber Rose is trying to take advantage of the amazing opportunities that life presented her. There's nothing wrong with that.
To be honest, I think Alex Phifer needs to quit her hypocritical talk. If she didn't want the attention, as she claims in the interview, she would have never gone through with the interview.
And Vibe magazine needs to quit their WACK attempts to defame Amber Rose. In the end, they are looking less like a credible source and more like a bogus gossip tabloid. Two thumbs down to Vibe Magazine AND Alexis Phifer
As for the quote that Vibe magazine claims is Amber's words ...
“You see Kanye’s other ex, he was with her for six years, took her the same places and no one even remembers her name now…
The quote is altered.
Amber Rose's words were DIFFERENT! and she said what she said in order to DEFEND HERSELF. If amber ever mentioned Alexis in the past it was just to defend herself. But its funny because she never even mentioned Alexis' name.
When amber was attacked about how she became famous She turned it around and got her point across in a fun way. She didn't purposely try to throw a jab at anyone. How would that benefit her? As everyone knows Amber's funky style is striking to say the least, she was just pointing out the obvious... that she's noticeable.
