Amber Rose is still heading to Jamie Foxx’s satellite radio station. Speaking with BET.com, last year’s BET Awards host explained how Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend came to become The Foxxhole’s latest radio personality. Foxx said how impressed he was with the way Amber conducted herself in an interview on the network noting, “you know how hard we go, we go pretty hard.”
He added, “She was able to really stand her ground. She had a great story, she said, 'Listen you guys have to understand that I used to sleep in a car, I used to be homeless, I used to be a stripper.' So she said that she is happy to be where she is.” Foxx said we should expect Rose to deliver a fresh view for men and women in her new radio segment, although it may be perceived as “controversial.”
Foxx was also asked about comedian Kevin Hart, who will be succeeding him as host of the BET Awards this weekend. The Oscar winner was quite complimentary towards Hart, quipping, “I am such a Kevin Hart fan.” He also stressed, “I can’t wait to see what he does.”
The BET Awards will air this Sunday, June 26 8/7pm CST.
